Nadia Hasan
Welcome! I am Nadia Hasan, a teacher, marketer, mom and mentor.

Nadia's task was to help marketers connect to their audiences using varying strategies targeting males 12-34. In 2010, Nadia decided to pursue her passion for teaching by getting her Master's and teaching high school. She loves teaching but her hunger for knowledge, creativity, and the digital landscape has brought her back to advertising working in the Pacific Northwest.

Nadia Hasan's Background
Nadia Hasan's Experience
Business Teacher at Beaverton School District
August 2011 - June 2012
Every day, I walk into my classroom and inspire students about business/marketing and developing their academic and personal lives pushing them to perform at their highest potential.
I make a difference - one student at a time.
I also repeatedly ask students to put their cell phones away.
Sales Director, Western Region at Giant Realm
September 2007 - December 2009
Upon hire, GiantRealm was at its birth billing no revenue for online advertising sales. In a short period, I built revenue to over $1M in New York, Chicago, Detroit, Texas and eventually the West Coast upon a transfer to the LA office
In addition, I led a team of colleagues to revolutionize the standardization of RFPs, evaluate post-IO processes and enforce better prospecting practices in order for everyone to be successful.
I found ways to help marketers reach guys in the 18-34 demographic while eating lunch with my eyes closed.
I fell in love with the power of social media, digital marketing solutions and auto-initiated ad units.
Senior Account Executive at IDG Consumer & SMB
February 2007 - July 2007
I came to IDG (GamePro Magazine) to learn digital (while still selling print); I walked away understanding the difference between a 728x90, a 300x250 and much more.
I began my understanding of custom marketing programs tailored to specific clients using GamePro Magazine and its web properties.
I walked away refreshed by the reality that digital allows special, unique solutions to marketers of all shapes and sizes and complements print in many ways.
Clients include: Intel, Sci-Fi Channel, Atari and Nintendo
Account Executive at DC Comics
February 2005 - February 2007
This is where my love affair with advertising started. I used my charming personality to learn as much as possible about print advertising and how marketers use print for brand awareness.
My dreams came true when I had the opportunity to live in New York and Los Angeles covering both territories and building sales revenue.
Emerging Markets Manager at Team Enterprises
July 2004 - February 2005
I used the untapped college market to increase brand recognition by networking and executing promotional events.
Summer Human Resources Intern at Kroger
2003 - 2003
At Fred Meyer (a division of Fred Meyer), I was tasked with creating print collateral to be placed in over 165 + stores to educate employees about opportunities for promotion with the company.
Media Consultant at Self-Employed
August 2012
With a passion for marketing and social media, I have taken on projects to help small local businesses and non-profit organizations to help them with their social media presence.
